Danielle and Darrell had a beautiful winter wedding just weeks after Christmas, so there was snow and the holiday spirit still in the air. Although the couple did not want a "Christmas Wedding", there was snowflakes, and pine trees with pine cones and perfect touches of red donning every inch of Medalta Potteries in Medicine Hat decorated by the visionary Events by Natalie Noel.
The ring bearers and flowergirl could have stole the entire show! We have never seen a little girl so happy to be in her "frozen princess" dress and waiving to the crowd as she walked down the aisle. She was just irresistible! She had the winter cape, red mittens, and even fur muff to keep her warm.
What was not to like about this magical day?! Oh wait! It was so freaking cold once again. Most couples who plan winter weddings are dying for those picturesque winter wonderland photos you see on Pinterest. Luckily they had a delicious hot chocolate bar with all of the fixings, but be forewarned, if you plan on photos outside in the winter be prepared for stiff shoulders, chattering smiles, and for goodness sakes, do not wear open toe shoes! Danielle had her loving husband promptly change her shoes the minute we retreated indoors. Just a sweet caring moment to begin their married lives together.
